A single parent had been ‘black listed’ by a government department, which negatively impacted their interactions with all government departments.
One result of the ‘black list’ was likely to be significantly reduced access to their children.
Through my intervention, the ‘black listing’ was removed – the department acknowledged that it was inappropriate and that due process had not been followed.
A fairer custody hearing, where the (now removed) 'black listing' could not be mentioned
The department corrected the single parent’s record.
